Connie (born Connie Victoria Elizabeth Talbot on November 20, 2000) lives in the West Midlands of Britain. Connie is best known as the gap toothed 6 year old who stole a nations heart when she stepped out on stage and sang solo in front of the judges of 'Britains Got Talent’. She has been singing since she was 18 months old. The song she is most known for is “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”.
She initially wanted to enter Britain's Got Talent so that she could sing in front of Simon Cowell and make people happy. After seeing Simon Cowell in Africa on American Idol she decided that if she was to win she would like to donate all the money to the kids in Africa. She managed to achieve two of those wishes after touching the heart of Simon Cowell and the nation as a whole.
After taking second on “Britain’s Got Talent”, Connie signed a record deal to release records on the special label “Rainbow Recordings” and recorded her debut album ‘Over The Rainbow’ which has since earned her a Gold Disc in the UK and has been a huge hit across S.E.Asia becoming the top selling international new artist CD in much of S.E.Asia in 2008. Just to round-off the year in style Connie released her Christmas Album to the delight of her fans, particularly in Asia, where it has again been in the Top 10 CD charts.
During the end of 2011 until March 2012 and again in the winter season of 2012/2013 Connie participated at the Young Voices Concerts that toured the UK performing at major venues, including the grand O2 Arena in London. During the Young Voices tour she managed to break another Guinness World Record for the largest number of backing singers ever to accompany one lead vocalist at a public venue. She accomplished this with the help of children in the O2.
In May 2012, she performed three concerts in Hong Kong and then it was back in L.A. to begin recording songs with the multi-platinum songwriter/producer and Grammy winner, Toby Gad. She even co-wrote two songs with Mr. Gad.
Her third album Beautiful World was released in Asia on November 26th 2012 and was followed with live performances in HK, Taiwan, Indonesia and the Philippines, as part of her Asian tour for the promotion of her Beautiful album, which has sold well throughout much of S.E.Asia. The album was produced by Grammy winning producer Kipper together with Phil Taylor.
Connie is currently having fun writing original songs for a new studio album. During the summer Connie will headline concerts throughout Asia.
